Summertime French

After much deliberations, I have finally organised the classes for August: they will all last for 4 weeks, and there will be different options:

Conversational:

  • Mondays: 7.30-9pm: Post-Beginner & Elementary conversation (£40 for 4 weeks)
  • Tuesdays: 7.30-9pm: Post-Elementary & Intermediate conversation (£40 for 4 weeks)
  • Wednesdays: 7.30-9pm: Post-Intermediate & Advanced conversation (£40 for 4 weeks)

NB: All conversational courses will be just that - an opportunity to practise the linguo and enhance the vocab painlessly through games & discussions.

FESTIVAL SPECIAL

It suddenly occurred to me that people of all levels and abilities might want to get to know a bit more about French culture - and what better way to get to know about such subject matter than to go to shows during the Fringe???

Sooo:

  • Thursdays: 7pm-?: A French festival : for all levels, as shows may be in French, but there will be sub-titles or it will be music (£16 + price of tickets, to be determined)

This last course will involve going to see a show and discussing it (in French if poss.) afterwards over a drink (or 3) (hence the question mark about the duration!) - so it may be an opportunity to see/experience something you maybe wouldn't have seen otherwise... I will organise all the ticket booking etc., and will suggest shows to those interested in it.... Hopefully we can agree on 4 shows!!!

All classes will start week commencing 1 August 2005, and will run for 4 weeks.

Contact me for more info.... (will post soon with more specific info on French shows!)
