Lesson 2 - Summary & Vocab

Last Tuesday, we started by looking over the vocabulary we'd seen the previous week (see below). After this, I answered your questions... and asked some more for good measure (you didn't think you could get out of it scot-free, did you now?!).

After this, we had a look at some prepositions (in particular with cities and countries):

• Tu voudrais aller en Ecosse? (Fem. country or start w/ vowel)
• Tu es déjà allé(e) au Pays de Galles? (masc. country)
• Tu as habité aux Etats-Unis? (plural country)
• Tu veux aller à Poitiers? (city)

We played a board game to reinforce these notions, and then we had a look at this (for your homework!) (yay!)

LES DEVOIRS:

• Check out the vocab & explain (in English)
• Describe the room in the drawing, and be prepared to say where objects are located (ie- practise à côté de, sur, sous, à droite, à gauche etc.) (prepare 10-15 sentences). Let me know if you need more info... (otherwise have a look at the useful links further down in this post!)
