Apologies...

It looks like I am not going to post this week-end again - or even update the blog ... I am going to France to... well... to act as moral support? to get a moral support? to/from my family, as my grand-mother has sadly been admitted to a medicalised centre due to her alzeimer condition (forever deteriorating). I am not at all finding it easy to deal with, especially at a distance, and I constantly feel guilty that I am not doing enough to support my family.
Oh dear, that's a sad, self-pitying post if I ever saw one...
:-(

One day, I will have to write properly about what feelings that disease inspires to me. Until then.. I am off and will be back on Monday.

Hi there,

I know exactly how you feel. I lived for two years in the USA and I have now been living in Edinburgh for the past two years. I've felt helpless and guilty because I couldn't be with my family in Paris when they needed me (my father died while I was stuck in the USa for some Visa issue) and while I feel a lot less guilty now being only 2 hours away from Paris, but believe me, I know how you feel.
All the best

Bruno

Anne - Merci beaucoup... C'est pas évident, mais on s'en sortira un jour, de ce magma!
Bruno - Thanks a lot. I have to say I really appreciate the relative lack of distance, and the fact that I was able to support my family and "reconnect" with them in this difficult time. I was extremely impressed by my Aunt, who made the journey from Argentina to be with my grand-mother! Take care. Lxox
