Benigno (Javier Cámara) is an inoffensive male nurse with a sinister secret that belies his name. Marco (Darío Grandinetti) is a restless travel writer who can no longer ignore his problems at home. Both come to care for girlfriends in a coma. Almodóvar's most audacious script, which won him a second Academy Award, dares to disorientate the viewer, jumping backwards and forwards in time and slowly knitting together the fates of its four protagonists. Talk to Her is Almodóvar's most moving essay on the impossibility and the necessity of love.
