FRENCH ELEMENTARY (1) 3

MORE OF THE PAST [ PASSE COMPOSE] We started the lesson by going over last week’s vocabulary, and after we corrected the homework – we had another look at the passé composé, as it had not been well understood, and I think things are a bit clearer now (though we did steer clear of the être situation – joy of things to come I’m afraid !) I have found out that the Conjugueur website I mentioned earlier in French Tip # 2 is good as well to find which verb we’re talking about. ie if you have the following sentence :

j’ai couru dans le jardin and you want to know which verb couru comes from : just type couru on the main page of the Conjugueur, and it gives you the original verb (infinitive form) LES DEVOIRS The game on the passé composé : choose 10 sentences and put them in the passé composé form.
Or else, you can practise all the sentences : we’ll be playing the game on Tuesday !
VOCABULAIRE Prendre le train Courir Le jardin Hier soir Demain soir Mieux Un[e] ami[e] En retard En avance Gentil, gentille Ce livre Marcher En même temps Jusqu’à Mettre la table Mettre le couvert Le jus de pomme
